This is a monster guide for Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on Death March difficulty for fighting the wraith. In my guide I get through all of the Wraith attack patterns, how to avoid getting hit and helpful strategies to beat information technology. Small tip to people that can not kill the wraith in the White Orchard, you need to kill it down in the crypt behind the identify of power or yous will not be able to impale information technology. 😉

Strategies for beating the Wraith

I will outline some of the strategies how to beat the Wraith. If you want to see it in action, check out video in this article.

Wraith's attacks

The Wraith has two different attacks, I will outline how to avoid and counter them.

Sword set on

When yous get close to wraith, they will practise a normal sword attack. They telegraphs this by making a sound. When they make sound yous tin can either contrivance, parry or counter assail this attack.

Teleporting double attack

The wraith does this assault when you have gained some altitude to him, the wraith volition teleport behind yous to close the gap. This attack tin stun you, and yous become hit twice. Yous can avoid this assault past rolling, y'all need whorl when you see the second "teleport cloud". This attack is very difficult to contrivance as you need to dodge twice in row with perfect timing. Rolling is a lot easier.

Wraith

Clerics and scholars are forever debating whether spirits do in fact journeying to another world after death, one where eternal joy or suffering awaits. Both groups concur, however, on what happens to spirits who, for ane reason or some other, remain in our world after their torso breathes its last: they transform into wraiths. To hear their mournful howls, one can surmise this is not a fate to be envied.

Wraiths are usually encountered at night, about cemeteries, catacombs and other such burying places, or else near the places that were important to them in life: abased homes, crumbling castles or forgotten bridges.

Wraiths suffer endless, indescribable pain. Filled with anger and a sense of having been wronged, they both envy the living and brim with overwhelming hatred for them. Like other specters, they are immaterial, significant they are non harmed past burn down, poison or weapons designed to provoke bleeding.

Wraiths tin turn immaterial and are at such times very difficult to wound.
